Two weeks after the disastrous fire that left 83 homeless and killed two, the scene of the Feb. 26 Creekside Village fire, shown here March 10, is circled by a metal fence, while a blue tent protects part of the burned shell from the elements. The RCMP, along with the Nunavut’s Fire Marshal’s office and fire investigators from Saskatchewan, continue their investigation into the fire. Meanwhile, fundraising efforts also continue for the victims of the fire, with Iqaluit’s Joamie elementary school recently raising more than $5,000.
