Photo: Uluit nominated for a Gemini

The producers and stars of Uluit: Champions of the North learned Aug. 9 that Uluit has been nominated for a Gemini award in the category of best documentary series. The series, produced by Arnait Video in collaboration with Rotating Planet, tells the story of an all-female hockey team from Inukjuak. Now, the Uluit, which aired last spring on APTN, will go up against four other Canadian series at a ceremony to be broadcast Sept. 7. (PHOTO COURTESY OF ROTATING PLANET)
