Ward called on the territorial and federal governments to sink more money into marine infrastructure in Nunavut to help support its fisheries — which have room to grow. “It’s clearly the responsibility of the governments to fund [these ports],” he said Oct. 19. “Until we’re at the same level as our southern counterparts, we need special consideration.
