The big haul: This group of Kuujjuamiut women celebrate their win at this year's aqpik berry picking contest Aug. 13, which happens in conjunction with the annual Aqpik Jam festival. First prize winner Susie Angnatuk, front and right, brought in 10.7 pounds of aqpiks Aug. 13, taking home the $1,000 in prize money. Second place picker Penina Saunders, front row, second from left, picked 10.2 pounds of aqpiks, while third place winner Elisapie Tukkiapik, front and second from right, picked 9.9 pounds of berries.
