Photo: Winter Carnival fun at Joamie School

Students at Joamie School in Iqaluit are getting a break from the humdrum of March and enjoying the annual winter carnival, especially Grade 3 student Hannah Durdle Awa, above, whose artwork was chosen to adorn this year’s carnival button. Awa earned a prize for winning the button contest and organizers then made 300 buttons with her design.
