One of Nunavut’s most successful contemporary Inuit artists, Shuvinai Ashoona, focuses on her latest work in the Kinngait Studio in Cape Dorset March 30. Ashoona’s work, which depicts colour drawings of realistic scenes of life in Nunavut, has taken the artist to far-flung places like Moscow and Mexico City, Kinngait Studio Manager Bill Ritchie said.
