Two 10-year-old chess players, Maggie Annie Kanayuk and Christina Ann Qavavau, contemplate their next move April 11 at the visitors' centre in Iqaluit, which also hosted a Toonik Tyme chess tournament for Iqaluit's chess club members. Toonik Tyme, Iqaluit's spring festival, continued to host events over the weekend, including a snowmobile race from Iqaluit to Kimmirut, won by Perry Akavak, and a fishing derby where Leesa Mikijuk placed first with 26-inch catch.
