Seagull spa: A flock of seagulls — not the 1980s indie band but the actual birds — descend on Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park just west of Iqaluit May 9. Warmer spring weather means the return of our winged friends to northern locations. Many Nunavummiut have taken to social media to celebrate their return, posting pictures of Canada geese, banded snow geese, snow buntings and others. (PHOTO BY THOMAS ROHNER)
