Photo:Cambridge Bay student gets camera from “Uncle Bob”

Carveth had read a memorial about Taylor, who passed away in a 2011 dirt bike accident, and when he sent the digital camera to Kiilinik High School in Cambridge Bay, he asked the Taylor family to help choose a worthy recipient for the gift. As a supporter of indigenous language and culture, Carveth has been donating cameras and other digital equipment to schools around Nunavut for the past few years to reward student achievement.
