Photo: Kuujjuaq Umimmaks take gold in Nunavik Cup

A golden parade: the Kuujjuaq Umimmaks women’s hockey team paraded through town March 16 after returning home from the Women’s Nunavik Cup hockey tournament in Inukjuak with gold medals. Kuujjuaq beat the hometown Inukjuak in the final match with a 5-0 shut-out. Kangiqsujuaq left the tourney with a bronze from a total six participating teams. (PHOTO BY ISABELLE DUBOIS)
