Larry Thomassiah — Larry T — 18, from Salluit, debuts his winning song “Be Happy” that won him the Esuma and Aumaaggiivik song competition in front of a crowd of about 200 people at Cabot Square in Montreal June 21. Cabot Square was the scene of many National Aboriginal Day festivities like stone carving and drum dancing, and Inuit artists such as Geronimo Inutiq, Joey Shaw, Twin Flames and Beatrice Deer also performed throughout the day.
