Zacharias Kunuk’s latest film “Inuit Cree Reconciliation” won the Best Short Documentary at this year’s imagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival in Toronto. Kunuk, of Igloolik, teamed up with Cree filmmaker Neil Diamond to make the 44-minute film which documents an historic peace celebration in 2011 between the Inuit of Kuujjuaraapik and the Cree of Whapmagoostui.
