RCMP continue to investigate July 27 stabbing in Iqaluit
Police provide few public details on the stabbing
The Iqaluit RCMP said July 29 that its investigators continue to look into a stabbing that took place July 27 in Iqaluit.
A short statement from the RCMP said that the person who was stabbed received medical attention “immediately” and is now listed in stable condition in hospital.
The investigation is still ongoing, police said.
The RCMP provided no other details about the stabbing, including the gender, age or identity of the person who was stabbed or where that person is hospitalized.
Police have also release no information about any criminal charges that may arise from the incident.
