Nunavut coroner rules death an accident, will not order autopsy

The Nunavut chief coroner will not order an autopsy into the death of 50-year-old man from Taloyoak who was killed Aug. 11 in a single-vehicle all-terrain vehicle accident, the Nunavut RCMP said in a release.
The man died at about 9:30 a.m. Aug. 11 after he lost control of his ATV and ran it into an embankment, police said.
The man was alone on the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.
The Office of the Nunavut Chief Coroner has already ruled the death as accidental and will not order an autopsy police said.
Police however, issued a reminder to the public about the importance of road and pedestrian safety and that people driving ATVs should wear helmets.
