The late Elijah Pudloo will be missed greatly

By NUNATSIAQ NEWS

Our father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend Elijah Pudloo will be greatly missed.

Husband to Annie Pudloo, brother to Ooleepeeka Nooshoota, uncle to many nieces and nephews father to nine children, grandfather to 14 and great grandfather to 10, he passed away suddenly on Dec. 17, 2012.

We would like to thank the people of Nunavut who brought in donations, prepared food, country food and prayers for the Pudloo, Tikivik and Nooshoota families, and the family, friends and co-workers who came to support us in our loss.

We would also like to thank Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. for flying up family members. Thank you to the undertaker, Jake, the doctors, nurses, ambulance crew, and the Anglican Church for the use of the parish hall.

He was a retired elder who worked his entire life. He enjoyed hunting and camping. He was also the pianist with the Anglican Church for 40-plus years and also taught Sunday school to children and teenagers in his home in the 1980s and 1990s.

Thank you all for your support.
