Tutuiya Qimirpik of Kimmirut, a student at the Nunavut Sivuniksavut program in Ottawa, shows off an unusual pair of snow goggles he made at a cultural skills retreat held last week at Harris Farm outside of Ottawa. Organized by NS instructor David Serkoak and cultural educators Julie Ogina and Jerry Puglik of Cambridge Bay, the session helped students get a break from books and the city.
