Protect youth against tobacco company pitches

Thanks to intense lobbying by tobacco companies in Quebec, Bill C-32, an act to crack down on marketing tobacco to youth, may not be passed in Ottawa.

This is because some politicians are more worried about votes than about our children.

I recently learned that tobacco companies now add fruit flavours to cigarettes.  This is just one of the over-the-top terrible things that they do.

We have children smoking in our playgrounds and our rates of lung cancer and COPD are totally depressing. 

We need our MP and health minister to speak loud and clear about your support for this bill and for anything and everything that may lower the rates of smoking in Nunavut. 

Minister Aglukkaq and Senator Patterson, please let us know what you have done, and will do, to get Bill C-32 passed without amendments.
