The president and chief operating officer of Agnico-Eagle, Ebe Scherkus, shown here during his recent trip in Finland, received a Mike Hine mining award at the April 7 Nunavut Mining Symposium’s gala in Iqaluit. Other Canadian North award-winners include: a second Mike Hine award for Allison Rippin Armstrong, and a Murray Pyke corporate award for Sabina Gold and Silver Corp..
