Police probe suspicious death in Iqaluit
Kelly Lucassie, 33, dies of injuries sustained at housing unit in the 300s

Iqaluit RCMP say they are now investigating the death of an Iqaluit man who was pronounced dead Feb. 19 at the Qikiqtani Regional Hospital.
Police saId, in a press release, that they were called to a housing unit in the 300s area of Iqaluit just after 11:30 p.m., Feb. 19.
There, they found Kelly Lucassie, 33, suffering from an injury that police have yet to disclose.
An ambulance took Lucassie to the Qikiqtani General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they are treating the case as a “suspicious death” and are now seeking information from the public.
