Thank you to Canadian North for helping us

By NUNATSIAQ NEWS

On April 6 the little boy of my brother Jeti Apak and his aippaq, Nina Mary, Kurt Inuluk, passed away when he slid in front of an oncoming truck in Igloolik.

My husband was out of town and I did not know how I would get to Igloolik to see my brother and family.

I got a call from Canadian North saying that they were willing to help with tickets for anyone needing to come up.

I gave them my name and the names of two of my sons, Judah Qajaaq and Xavier Inuluk’s names. Later, I received a call saying that all our tickets were taken care of and we got a chance to see my brother and his family.

I would like to thank Canadian North for helping me and my boys go to Igloolik for the funeral as well as the food hampers and the flowers they delivered to my brother’s house.

I also would like to thank everyone on behalf of my brother for all the support we received during this very difficult time.
