The four candidates contesting the Nunavut seat in the May 2 federal election pose for photographers during a break in the all-candidates forum organized April 23 by CBC North and broadcast live to radio listeners throughout Nunavut. At the start of the debate, Hicks and Okalik attacked the Conservative government for not putting any money for Nunavut social housing into its recent budget and for its creation of the unpopular Nutrition North Canada program.
