Acting CEO appointed to Baffin board
IQALUIT — Health Minister Ed Picco has found a replacement for Jarvis Hoult, the former CEO of the Baffin Regional Health and Social Services Board, who is leaving to take a position in Oman.
Rosemary Cooper, the board’s interim trustee, announced last week that Dr. Keith Best, the CEO of the Keewatin Regional Health and Social Services Board, will act as a temporary CEO for the Baffin board.
“Keith is an experienced manager with a solid understanding of the board’s responsibilities and programs,” Cooper said in a government press release.
Best will function as CEO for both boards until a permanent CEO can be found for the Baffin, the release said.
