Alleged sex abuser arrested

Pangnirtung police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting three young girls.

Billy Gary Kilabuk, 32, was arrested July 27 and charged with four counts of sexual assault.

Kilabuk allegedly committed one of the assaults this month in his home, where he was under house arrest as part of a six-month sentence for an unrelated offence.

The alleged victims are all younger than 14. The girls told police that all the offences occurred over the last two years.
