An overdue thank you

This has been long due.

I would like this opportunity to tell everybody on Feb. 9, 2003, Rebecca Kumayuk Degrasee suddenly passed away. Her death shocked the residents of Nunavut, especially our family. She passed away on her birthday!

She leaves behind two daughters, one son and eight grandchildren.

We will greatly miss her laughter, her smile, and her tender loving care. And I want people to know that we really appreciated the support you showed.

I would like to say thank you to all those people who supported us.
