Fifty of the most progressive Nordic and Baltic visual and performance artists will be in Iceland next week to promote interaction between the performing and visual arts. The event called “break the ICE” is arranged by NordScen, the Nordic Centre for the Performing Arts, and a number of Iceland’s leading art institutions and freelance artists.

“The first ‘break the ICE’ stage will be a very focused phase where participants are drawn into each other’s creative work and artistic universe. We have even brought four of the hottest names from the performance and visual art world to Iceland to involve participants in their unique work approach and appreciation of art,” said Anna Thelin, Project Coordinator at the Nordic Centre for Performing Arts.
