Bright lights in the city

Dust off those Christmas lights — the City of Iqaluit’s recreation department is launching its second annual light and sculpture decorating contest.

“Qaumakuluit in the Capital” judging will take place on Dec. 20, but homes must register by Dec. 18.

A variety of prizes are up for grabs, including plane tickets, gift certificates and a “massive Christmas dinner.”
