Call for photos of Inuit midwives, mothers, children, families
The Ajunnginiq (Inuit) Centre of the National Aboriginal Health Organization wants photos for use on a new web site that will provide information on Inuit midwifery and maternal care in the North.
The web site, a project to support the Irnisuksiiniq — Inuit Midwifery Network, is looking for photos of Inuit midwives, maternity care workers, mothers, fathers, families, babies, and children, which illustrate midwifery and maternal care.
A fee of $10 will be paid to photographers for each of first 50 photos selected. The deadline for submissions is March 21, 2006. For more information on how to submit photos, consult www.naho.ca/inuit.
