Canada-wide recall issued for sauces that may contain glass

No injuries have been reported from consuming these products

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a national warning about three sauces that may contain pieces of glass.

Loblaw Companies Ltd. has recalled certain President’s Choice brand and PC Black Label brand sauces from the marketplace due to the potential presence of glass pieces, the food agency said May 3.

Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.

  • President’s Choice Creamy Horseradish, 250 mL

All Best Before Dates (BBD) up to and including 2019 SE 09 0 60383 69304 6

  • President’s Choice Thai Red Curry Cooking Sauce, 400 mL

All Best Before Dates (BBD) up to and including 2019 DE 15 0 60383 99378 8

  • PC Black Label Lemon Curd, 250 mL

All Best Before Dates up to and including 2019 SE 21 0 60383 16670 0

The food agency says you should check to see if you have recalled products in your home.

If you do, you should throw them out or return them to the store where they were purchased.

There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of these products, the food agency said.
