Canadian Women’s Foundation seeking grant applicants

Up to $20,000 on offer for initiatives to support women and children

Northern organizations working to improve the lives of women could be eligible for grants of up to $20,000 being offered by the Canadian Women’s Foundation.

The grants are awarded for initiatives that support women and children and fall within four categories: gender-based violence, economic security, girls’ empowerment and inclusive leadership.

The deadline to apply is Feb. 27.

    Why is it that notification for grants and grant money applications are always in the newspaper so last minute. February 27, is the deadline today is February 17, ten days
    to plan and submit an application. Kind of short notice.
