Car crashes outside hospital
Two drivers escaped unharmed after their cars collided in the intersection in front of the Baffin Regional hospital last Friday.
A Ford Ranger traveling downtown from Apex slammed into a red Chevy Blazer as it was turning into the hospital around 10 a.m. on Dec. 17.
It was the third reported accident to take place at the intersection since the stop signs were temporarily removed on Nov. 29. So far, nobody has been injured.
On Nov. 12, city council voted to temporarily remove the stop signs for a three-month trial period. They will stay down until at least the end of January.
