Case getting “stale” judge tells lawyers
A man charged in connection with a stabbing incident at an Iqaluit apartment in August 2002 does not have legal representation, prompting Justice Robert Kilpatrick to question the compounding delays.
“This is getting rather stale. I don’t want him languishing unnecessarily at BCC,” Kilpatrick said.
Mosesee Nowdluk faces one charge of aggravated assault and one charge of escaping lawful custody.
His next court date is set for Dec. 3.
