CCGS Louis S. St.-Laurent pulls into Iqaluit
The Canadian Coast Guard ship Louis S. St.-Laurent sits anchored off Iqaluit’s deepsea port on Wednesday morning, right after its arrival. It’s Canada’s largest multi-mission icebreaker, according to the coast guard website. It is named after Canada’s twelfth prime minister, who led a Liberal government from 1948 to 1957.
