After a week of festive fun, Christmas games in Iqaluit are winding down on Saturday night.

The traditional event, organized by the City of Iqaluit’s recreation department, began on Dec. 23 at Nakasuk elementary school.

The games included a square-dancing night, scavenger hunts, live music and Inuit games. On New Year’s Eve in Iqaluit, fireworks displays are planned for 6 p.m. and midnight.

Photographer Jason Sudlovenick shared these pictures of Friday’s activities.
