Congratulations to Mitiarjuk Nappaaluk

I would like to express my congratulations to Mitiarjuk Nappaaluk for her Order of Canada. I am proud of her for her accomplishments – she has never asked to be recognized for her efforts in helping others.

I was fortunate in being one of her students. She was a dynamic person in all ways, and my most memorable time with her curriculum was her storytelling, because she knew every bit of her stories.

Again, congratulations Mitiarjuk Nappaaluk and Naalak Nappaaluk. We should gather in a community dance in celebration of a great life.
