Council okays 24-unit development

Iqaluit city council voted this past Tuesday to approve a three-storey, 24-unit building in the Road to Nowhere subdivision, to be build by Tumiit Development Corp.

They also voted to give the developer variances on the amount of lot frontage, and on the area to be occupied by the building.

The building would hold eight rental units on each of its three floors, with a 34-space parking lot.
