This week the Norwegian government presented its report on the North to the Storting (parliament).

The report stresses the importance of international discussion forums in the North and more Norwegian-Russian cooperation. The report also calls for more coordination of official northern policies so various departments in the government and organizations are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
