Court clerk charged with trafficking

A Nunavut court clerk from Iqaluit faces drug trafficking charges after police arrested him earlier this year.

Andrew Dunford, 22, who appeared in court on Wednesday, was working for Nunavut court services when police arrested him in early July.

Court management said Dunford no longer works there for “staffing reasons” that were unrelated to the charges.

Dunford next appears Aug. 30.
