Do you know this woman?

The woman in a photo left in a discarded book must be someone’s friend or relative, says Beverley Browne of Iqaluit.

The fading photo was found in a book donated to a giant garage sale at Iqaluit’s Inuksuk High School last weekend. The image says August 1946 on the back, but has no other identifying information. However, the woman’s clothing seems to predate the 1940s.

Browne brought the photo to the garage sale, hoping that someone would recognize the woman, but no one came forward.
