Updated: Parr Josephee found safe in Ottawa

A young Cape Dorset man missing since Aug. 31 has been found, according to a Facebook post by one of his friends.
Parr Josephee, 20, was reported missing in Ottawa by his family and friends.
“Parr is alive and sitting in the Ottawa library. He wants everyone to know he is very thankful for all your kindness and concern. Everyone who has driven around the city looking for him, everyone who has posted about him and everyone who had him in your thoughts and prayers,” Thompson said in the post.
Josephee was in Ottawa to visit his grandfather in the hospital and, prior to being reported missing, had been last seen in the Byward Market in Ottawa outside Club Show at 104 Clarence St. at 12:30 a.m.
Josephee was born in Iqaluit and grew up in Cape Dorset. He attended Nunavut Sivuniksavut in Ottawa and Oasis Skateboard Factory in Toronto.
