Feds commit to funding addictions treatment centre for Nunavut

Today the federal government announced it would contribute $47.5 million over five years to help build a Nunavut Recovery Centre in Iqaluit, which will provide treatment for addictions and trauma. The Government of Nunavut and Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. are also partners in the project.
