Northern lights and fireworks lit up the sky over Igloolik to usher in 2025.
Iglulik High School student Anthony Qrunnut captured some pictures of fireworks going off at midnight with the northern lights in the background.
Igloolik’s New Year’s Eve fireworks show went off exactly at midnight, with a pyrotechnic display being set off from the shore near the Northern store.
The fireworks lasted for at least 10 minutes.
