First of Nunavik’s new housing warehouses almost complete

The first of three new Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau warehouses is almost complete. The new facility in Inukjuak will store housing materials and lodging units for staff, and is set to be open by May. This warehouse and two others under construction in Salluit and Puvirnituq were built with a $21-million grant from the Quebec government last year by Makivik Corp.’s Kautaq Construction.
