First air contract inked

IQALUIT — First Air’s maintenance workers have agreed to a new contract with the airline.

The three-year agreement was ratified June 17 by the Group Association of First Air Employees, which represents around 300 maintenance workers and supervisors. The agreement goes into effect Dec. 1.
