Food arrives in Nunavut’s Clyde River

Workers at the Ilisaqsivik Society in Clyde River unload pallets of food from Arctic Co-operatives Ltd. that will later be distributed to elders in the community. The food hampers are from the Qikiqtani Inuit Association’s elder assistance program being provided during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ilisaqsivik said that thanks to the program, “elders in our community are receiving regular food hampers through June.” (Photo courtesy of Ilisaqsivik/Twitter)
