It’s a day where city residents can sign up for a variety of sports organizations and community groups

One of Iqaluit’s more highly anticipated annual events, mass registration day, is scheduled for Sept. 9, the city announced in a news release Thursday.
Registration day in Iqaluit is where youth sports groups and community organizations ask Iqalummiut to join them for the year. Tables will be set up throughout Arctic Winter Games Arena where residents can speak with members of the organizations and register to join.
Registration day will start at 11 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. Groups can set up their tables starting at 10 a.m.
