Handbook for Nunavut foster parents

The GN’s department of health and social services has produced a handbook on the roles and expectations of foster parents in Nunavut, including what is required from them under the Child and Family Services Act.

“The handbook explains what is expected of the foster parent and describes the duties of the social worker. This will help develop a closer relationship between all involved with the child in the foster care placement,” said Ed Picco, minister of health and social services.
