Happy Pride!

Premier P.J. Akeeagok, centre in red, gathers with students for the raising of a Pride flag in front of the Nunavut legislative assembly in Iqaluit on Friday. The flag was raised to recognize June as Pride Month, which celebrates and commemorates lesbian, gay, bisexual and gender-diverse community pride. (Photo by David Lochead)

It should read: “Premier P.J. Akeeagok, centre in the red attigi”

It should read that the Inclusive Pride flag was actually raised by an MLA who is a proud and open member of the LGBTQ community.

It just says he is in red. It doesn’t say he’s in a coat.

For what it’s worth, every Inuit that has complemented my “attigi” has said “nice parka.”

Uhhh, it’s not a coat, but it’s also not an attigi. Even the Premier always calls it this but he’s wrong.

This is just “INCREDIBLE” most “MONUMENTAL” and will be the most “HISTORICAL” BTW, nice red atigi! P.S. what’s becoming of this Government? Yet keep those perfect photo ops coming! But not in Jammies.
