Hunter Support Program office in Kuujjuaq demolished, to be replaced by new one
Organization’s freezers remain open while office works from separate temporary site

Kuujjuaq’s Hunter Support Program’s office was demolished Friday to make way for a new one, though its freezers remain open. For now, the organization’s office is based at the old water treatment facility near Coop Road. (Photo by Cedric Gallant)
Hopefully they can produce bigger and better gas vouchers in the new facility
Our late uncle and signator of the JBNQ worked there for awhile… remember him offering a little piece of fresh frozen caribou meat snack… it was stacked 5 or 6 feet high 🙂
… deep, not high. He was and they were of a different generation, a time when handouts were few and far between.
Today , everybody need and demands a handout
That old and mouldy place? Its about time! Gotta be happy that there will be no more nasty smell every time i go buy bullets. Happy for the workers getting a safer environment to work in, too. Shout out to silas.
