Income support up five per cent

People who rely on income support will soon be getting a five per cent increase in their monthly food allowance.

The food allowance was also raised in June last year, which means this is the second raise in 10 months.

Income support rates are different in each community. As an example, a family of four in Grise Fiord will now receive $1,151 for food per month.
