Innovation summit held

The Nunavut Summit portion of Canada’s Innovation Strategy was held this week in Iqaluit.

The Government of Canada, Iqaluit Chamber of Commerce, Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. and Nunavut Arctic College worked together to hold the summit mandated to gather comment, information and direction on the priorities, goals and identified targets of Canada’s innovation challenges.

The information collected will be used along with results from other regional and sector summits for discussion at a national forum in Toronto in November, and then presented to the Government of Canada.
